Some pictures of Jürgen’s visit to Barcelona

17 11 2008

This is my version 2.0 of this picture. I took a similar one some months ago with my 18-55mm zoom. This one has been taken with the nikkor AI 50mm F1.8 and it shows a MUCH better quality

Autumn is here!

29 10 2008

Rain and coldeness are finally here, to my complete amusement! This means I need to buy a waterproof body protection for my camera and get out in the rain to make nice new pictures!

Meanwhile I want to show you some of my favourites pictures I have taken to the date. Enjoy!

Candles are fun!

14 10 2008

Candles are fun to take pictures with. Currently my tripod is on the other end of Europe, so I had to be very careful to take this pictures hand-holding the camera.
A good tip to avoid blurriness when you don’t have a tripod is holding your breath when shooting. And ofcourse find other methods of holding the camera, like a table (the ones where I appear where shot like that).
All of this pictures were taken with my 18-55mm lense and in manual mode and manual focus.
